TOURIST
PROGRAMS:
On weekends, we can offer you excursions to cosmopolitan
Buenos Aires, Valle de la Luna, Mendoza or, of
course, Cordoba neighboring towns, which host
many events throughout the year – folk music
and dance festivals, arts and crafts exhibitions,
traditional equestrian (gaucho) exhibitions, tango
classes and more. There are also many opportunities
for outdoor activities, from hangliding, horseback
riding and hiking to mountain biking and skiing.
At
the end of your course, you can
take advantage of a wide range of travel opportunities,
such as excursions to:
- The Iguazu Waterfalls and
the Perito Moreno Glacier, two breathtaking
wonders.
- The Lake District in Patagonia.
- The Andes.
- Las Leñas, one of the
most sophisticated places to ski.
- Lots of famous seaside resorts,
such as Mar del Plata, Pinamar and Villa Gessel.
You
can also:
- Stay at “estancias”
where you can have first-hand experiences of
traditional Argentine way of life.
- Go hunting in the jungle in
Misiones.
- Or visit our neighboring
countries: Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay,
Brazil.

DAY
01: Córdoba -Puerto Madryn:
Departure 2pm with some stops at Rio Cuarto, Santa
Rosa, Río Colorado and Sierras Grande.

02: Puerto Madryn. Arrival and
lodging in the morning. In the afternoon: City
Tour visiting the city, the suburbs, the Tehuelche
Indian monument and Paraná beach where
marine fossils can be appreciated in an amazing
Patagonian landscape.
DAY
0 3: Puerto Madryn. PENINSULA
VALDES.
Departure in the morning to Puerto Pirámide
(site where the embarkation of special launches
takes place in order to admire an incomparable
sight that only a few privileged people in the
world have the possibility to see: The Franca
Austral Whale; only from July to December-Optional-not
included)
In the afternoon: we'll go through the peninsula
to Caleta Valdés reaching Punta Cantor
where you can see the only continental naval station
of sea elephants in the world and watch the behavior
of these mammals in the reproduction period. On
the way back to the city, we will visit the Florentino
Ameghino isthmus and its valuable Park Interpretation
Center. Return to Puerto Madryn.
DAY
4: Puerto Madryn-Calafate.
Departure to the inferior Valley of Chubut River
going through TRELEW, observing the industrial
and commercial activity; RAWSON, the capital,
with its administrative importance; PLAYA UNION
with its natural harbor (used by the Welsh Settlers
since their arrival) and the outlet of the Chubut
River into the sea. In the afternoon, we will
visit the Natural Reservation CABO DOS BAHIAS,
important penguin site on the Bahía Camarones
where penguins in their reproduction period can
be watched as well as "guanacos", nandues”
and "maras". Finally, we will continue
our trip towards Calafate stopping at Comodoro
Rivadavia and Rio Gallegos.
DAY
05: Calafate. Arrival at midday.
- Free afternoon.
DAY
06: Calafate- Excursion to LOS
GLACIARES National Park.
We’ll go through the arid Patagonian plateau
and a leafy forest in the mountain until we reach
The National Park and walk along the banks of
the Argentinean Lake where we'll be able to appreciate
the amazing sight of The Perito Moreno Glacier.
In the afternoon we'll go back to the cottages.
DAY
07: Calafate.
Free day for optional activities such as hiking
at The Glacier, walking on the ancient ice or
sailing towards the Upsala and Onelli glaciers.
This is an unforgettable experience.
DAY
08: Calafate-Ushuaia.
Departure at dawn. Stops at Rio Gallegos, and
Monte Aymond. Boarding of a ferry that goes through
Magallanes Strait (we will be in Chilean territory--
take the documentation required). A stop at Rio
Grande reaching Ushuaia at dawn. .
DAY
09: Free morning.
In the afternoon, excursion to Tierra del Fuego
National Park going through the leafy Patagonian
forests until we reach Bahía Lapataia where
Route number three and the American Continent
finish. During the excursion passengers will visit
Lago Roca, Bahía Ensenada and the railway
station where the famous train of EL FIN DEL MUNDO
(the end of the world) is. (Optional excursion).
DAY
10: Ushuaia.
Free day to take optional excursions (Suggestion:
sailing across the Beagle Channel).
DAY
11: Ushuaia-Caleta Olivia.
Departure early in the morning going through the
Andes mountain chains, Garbaldi path and stopping
at Río Grande, Río Gallegos and
San Julían Harbour. Night on board.
DAY
12: Caleta Oliva. Arrival in the
morning.
Free day to rest and visit the city. Lodging.
DAY
13: Caleta Olivia. Las Grutas.
Free afternoon to travel around this beautiful
locality.
DAY
14: Las Grutas. Free morning.
After lunch we go back to Cordoba in the afternoon.
DAY
15: Cordoba. Arrival in the morning.
End of the service.
